2024 in review
Big year.
Got married! Daughter started secondary school. Got to be on the inside of an acquisition (as an acquiree), which was extremely interesting, but it meant parting ways with a lot of great colleagues and two great mentors in the process. Started exploring generative art. Watched a lot of MMA - every single UFC fight this year - prelims, main cards, the lot - which amounts to over 500 fights! Added some fun features to this website, like the theme switcher. Got fitter.
Favourite books: Fiction, definitely The complete James Bond short stories by Ian Fleming. Non-fiction, Shape Up by Ryan Singer is excellent, and a book whose ideas and concepts I am constantly referencing at work.
Favourite movies: American Fiction, Challengers, Damsel, Road House, Speak No Evil, and Trap all made the list.
